Diana was introduced to computers at a very young age. She was intrigued by digital multimedia and the expanding sophistication of the World Wide Web that lead to the creation of her first website at the age of twelve. She finds the Internet with its vast library of information to be one of the greatest places to research, study, and expand her skill set. She started designing websites, restaurant menus, and business cards for friends and family; and soon, what started out as a hobby turned into a real passion.

She was strongly encouraged by her father — whose passion was also computers — to concentrate on computer science but instead, Diana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business science from the California State University of Sacramento in 2005. Fluent in English and Cantonese, she felt she had an advantage in business development being bilingual so she vested special emphasis in marketing, general management, and international business.

With a business mindset and design background, she saw the need and desire for web and graphic design so she turned her passion into a real career. One of her major strengths is adaptability. She is able to easily switch from being a designer, to coder, to software technician, to decision maker. This adaptability can also be seen in her designs where she is able to handle any task given whether it is web design, branding, or digital illustration.

In 2001, she created deeindesign to provide identity, print and web design services. She got her feet wet in photography and started Perfect Polaroids in 2008. Some of her enthusiastic work can be found on her Flickr Photostream.

In 2009, Diana opened her online journal to the public called deelightful musings. She considers her online journal a savings account for all things inspiring. She covers topics on design, photography, technology, as well as food, travel, literature, music, arts and crafts, and living a fulfilled and balanced life.

She continues to explore and spends a good portion of her day in front of the screen, designing, researching, and seeking new inspiration. When she's not glued to her desk, she takes photographs, travel to discover new cities, muck around in her garden, and cuddles with her two spoiled dogs.
