I am Chinese American, born and raised in sunny California. I’m the oldest of three girls and consider myself the trendsetter of the family. By that, I mean I was the first to acquire the cultural values of being American-born Chinese.

I was born in the hot month of August in 1983, making me the fiery and ambitious Leo.

I’m fluent in Cantonese and I can mutter a few words in Mandarin. I wish I could learn to read and write but I’m easily distracted.

I have two wonderful girls; Summer 5 and Piggy 7. They love long walks to the park, playing in wet grass, and getting their tummies rubbed. They’re a handful sometimes but I love them all nonetheless. My oldest Dolly passed away in August. I miss her every day.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 wonderful years. He loves to make me dinner; I love to do our laundry — fair trade. We visit Seattle every September for our anniversary.

I love to read. I love coffee. I loooove buying clothes and shoes!

I love to sing. At least I try.
