Words With Friends
Fans of Scrabble will enjoy Words With Friends (WWF). Just like Scrabble, your goal is to outscore your opponent by using as many letters as possible to spell words, using rare letters and placing letters on top of premium squares to multiply your points.
One of the reasons why I love to play word games like WWF is for the educational value. It’s really nice to have a good time and also learn a thing or two. The other reason is purely because I have a competitive personality!
WWF lets players have dozens of games going simultaneously. You can add games with friends directly from their phone’s contact list, search via user name, or instantly find a random opponent to challenge. WWF also allows players to chat with one another, which is always a cool feature to have in any multi-player game. With the convenience of portable online play, you can play with your friends anywhere, anytime.
Available on iPhone and iPod Touch with 2.2.1 firmware or newer. WWF is free to download on the App Store with ads. This game is also available for $1.99 should you prefer the no-ads version.
