Longer Ring Time for iPhone

All my ringtones are 30 to 40 seconds long but my iPhone rings for only 20 seconds before it kicks the call to voicemail. I know that I would always pick up the call before my ringtone stops playing but its nice to know that my ring time can last long enough for the entire clip to play. So I looked into this and found a way to change the ringer from 20 to 30 seconds. Here’s how:

  1. Dial *#61# and hit Call.
  2. Write down the 11-digit number displayed on the screen. This is the number that directs the calls to your voicemail.
  3. Dial **61*(THE 11-DIGIT NUMBER)**30# and press Call.

Your iPhone should now ring longer for the full 30-second duration of your ringtone. To verify that your voicemails are still being sent to the correct place, repeat step 1 and check that the 11-digit number matches.

You can try changing your ring time higher to 40 or 50 (in increments of 5 seconds) but I was told by a rep that if your phone rings longer than 30 seconds you will be charged 1 minute of airtime.
