The Write Stuff is a website about design, photography, and technology. It also covers topics on food, travel, entertainment, fashion, shopping, books, arts and crafts, and living a fulfilled and balanced life.

About The Author

Diana Ung graduated from California State University of Sacramento in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business science. Fluent in English and Cantonese, she vested special emphasis in marketing, general management and international business.

Her main passion and occupation is web and graphic design. Although she has never taken any classes or had formal training, all of her skills and experience has been self taught. At the age of 12, Diana was intrigued by digital artworks and the expanding sophistication of the World Wide Web that lead her to create her first website. She finds the Internet, with its vast library of information, to be one of the greatest places to research, study and expand her skill set. Web and graphic design instantly turned into a real passion.

Diana devotes most of her free time to design and photography. In 2001, she started a freelance design project called DeeInDesign that provides identity, print and web design services. In 2008, she got her feet wet in photography and started PerfectPolaroids. Some of her work can be found on her Flickr Photostream. Diana is known for her open-mindedness and her enthusiasm.

I love beautiful things. Art, photography, flowers, jewelry, architecture, design, textures, colours, music, people.

I love being creative and crafty. I scrapbook, make friendship bracelets, sew, design layouts, business cards, wedding invitations, websites, logos and identities. So nothing is really off limits!!

I love reading. From easy reads to trashy chick lit, to thrillers, crime, and classics. There isn’t enough time in the day for me to linger around my local library or bookstore so I only read books that come highly recommended. I have a soft spot for Asian literature.

I love going out. Sitting in cafes, clubbing with my girlfriends, talking in bars, dining out, house gatherings, parties, picnics, barbecues, weddings! I also love an occasional trip out of town to stretch my legs. I secretly wish I can travel the world.

At the same time, I can’t think of anything more satisfying than sitting in front of the television with my three dogs and eating take-away in my pajamas. I’m a home girl at heart.
